The concept of transcending the limits of current civilization. Imagine that we were to take all the problems that civilization faces in 2025, and we were to solve all of them. One way to do this would be by creating an overwhelming new instance of civilization, based on available resources. The good news is that those resources exist on the [[Kardashev Scale]] - see the [[10000 Factor]. This means that with a good design, only a small fraction of such available resource - just 1% - could be converted to a new civilization based on good design. Just like today's civilization has many shortcomings.

A natural point of critique emerges: what guarantees that the new civilization will be good, not evil? Nothing, outside of design. We can design systems based on an [[Abundance Mindset]], and that would be the only guarantee of something better than today. Currently, OSE aims to cultivate and replicate such a mindset at scale.

The concept of transcending the limits of current civilization. Imagine that we were to take all the problems that civilization faces in 2025, and we were to solve all of them. One way to do this would be by creating an overwhelming new instance of civilization, based on available resources. The good news is that those resources exist on the Kardashev Scale - see the 10000 Factor. This means that with a good design, only a small fraction of such available resource - just 1% - could be converted to a new civilization based on good design. Just like today's civilization has many shortcomings.

A natural point of critique emerges: what guarantees that the new civilization will be good, not evil? Nothing, outside of design. We can design systems based on an Abundance Mindset, and that would be the only guarantee of something better than today. Currently, OSE aims to cultivate and replicate such a mindset at scale.
