Basics
- A Term for Exoskeleton Systems for Humans that do not use any Motors or other Actuators (such as Hydraulic Pistons etc)
- While they can be used as essentially a system of braces (for medical use), the term typically refers to usage in Occupational Settings
- Systems of Springs or Cables (Akin to a Self Retracting Lanyard ) allow support for one’s back when lifting heavy objects
- Systems can also be designed to allow for a sort of “wearable chair” for those frequently crouching down when doing tasks
