Talk:Vented vs Ventless Range Hood

Ventless for Efficiency/Electric, Vented if any Fuels (Gas/Solid/Alcohol, etc) are used for Indoor Air Pollution reasons.

Granted cleaning cycles and all that (Also Integrated Kitchen Fire Suppression etc) are a major consideration for Commercial Kitchens, but probably not TOO big of a deal for home use etc
