Attach Motor Interface Plates
- Prepare 1/2”x6”x8” plates for motor interface plates
- Download CAM files for motor interface plate
- Torch out main hole for hydraulic motor plus 3/4” mouning holes
- Weld outer ends of motor flanges onto interface plate, to retain disassembly option
- Weld reinforcing nut onto interface plate, on side of motor.
- Clean and ream interface plates.
Attach Motor Mount Plates
- Torch pattern identical to interface plate, but on a different size plate.
- Work with ½”x8”x10” plate
- Grind and ream torched ares
Join Motor Interface plate with Motor Mount Plate
- Lubricate motor shaft and attach motor coupler
- Bolt the interface plate to motor mount plate, using a washer and metal lock washer
- Fit wheel shaft into bearing mount plates, butt up against coupler so no space is exposed on the 1-3/8” spline shaft
- Clamp motor mount plate to frame veritcal
- Adjust location of motor mount plate accordingly
- Weld motor mount plate to frame
