OSE aims for 5 minute replacement of parts as a general design strategy. This includes anything from chips to drive units in heavy machines, which is not possible anywhere in mainstream industry. We are aiming for a maximum.iteration of 3 five-minute deconstruction layers to extract and replace any part
5 minute design must by definition apply to submodules:
- Mount another hydraulic motor via splined shaft coupler and chain
- Tension chain with 1 bolt, etc.
- Mount a new motor with quick couplers
