For many, UV resistance must be addressed in outdoor environments. Coatings and protection can include:
- UV inhibitors in plastic
- Gravel (roof)
- Physical protection
- Cement coat
- Paint and other UV coat
- Sacrificial material - sufficient thickness
- Metal or wood cladding
- Use in interior or behind walls
