For many, UV resistance must be addressed in outdoor environments. Coatings and protection can include:

  • UV inhibitors in plastic
  • Gravel (roof)
  • Physical protection
  • Cement coat
  • Paint and other UV coat
  • Sacrificial material - sufficient thickness
  • Metal or wood cladding
  • Use in interior or behind walls

Building Materials - Siding

  • Drip cap - 2" now used at base of SH6-7 - about 13 sections at $7 or $100 - [1]
