Basics
- A Process of PRefiential OXidation of trace amounts of Carbon Monoxide via catalysts in a Hydrogen Gas Stream (Typically made via Steam Methane Reforming , hence the contamination) into Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide to "clean" the gas stream for processes that require high Hydrogen Purity and/or for process optimization
- Mainly relevant for Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Scientific Uses, although other use cases exist
