Interesting. So maybe use all steel wheels and say 4 chains. But need cross pieces on chain or otherwise there is limited traction in bulldozer duty.

The LifeTrack uses steel chains turned 45 degrees. So does this sprocket. It looks pretty easy to make, so maybe the LifeTrack could be upgraded with a more tank-like propulsion system.
