#Responsible for managing the overall progress of one of the 50 GVCS machines.
Project Manager
#Produces a development timeline, strategy, and budget for the project for review by the Projects Director.
*Transition to Operations Director in 12 Months
#Follows up with team members on a regular basis to maintain progress, morale, and rapport throughout the development team.
*Knows job after 12 months - can
#Follows up with CAD development and commits files to the design repository.
*$4k/month - $8k for Director - Salary.com
#Blogs on a weekly basis to provide development updates to the greater community.
*Living on site or nearby town or remote work
#Engages in a weekly strategy/progress meeting with Projects Director.
#Recruits documenters to produce instructionals, master PDFs, Connexions documentation material, and other indispensable project outputs.
#Blogs updates and milestones on Factor e Farm Blog and feeds any required blog material to Factor e Farm Blogger
#Reports directly to Projects Director.
#Arranges for product testing and documents results. This person may collaborate directly with the Factor e Farm Director for the purpose of testing.
#Maintains an open, daily log of all relevant activity, including links to performance results obtained in field testing. This includes maintaining logs of expenditures on financial transparency wiki pages.


*This is a management role, where the Manager works with the successful bidding prototyper/designer (or volunteer) to manage the workflow of development.
Duties
*PM shall blog or co-blog on the [[Factor e Farm Blog]] regarding updates
Interfaces between onsite Team and ED
*PM shall moderate or co-moderate the corresponding [[Technical Development Forum]] for the project
Keeps on top of weekly log of promises and evaluates results of video production, design work
*PM shall work with a [[Documentor]] for the project to produce instructional videos, as delineated in the [[Instructional_Page_Template]]
Follows up with team to make sure deliverables are met, and unblocks any blocks
Reports to ED with any issues not solved on their own
Allocates human capital to projects
Manages productivity
Runs meetings to assure above productivity
Oversee technical development
Organizes review of technical contributor’s work
Assists in ED in developing a technical review process
Assures procurement of supplies and materials
Oversees implementation of accounting and financial procedures
Manages work days by visitors and other on-site visits at Factor e Farm
Oversees progress of Dedicated Project Visitors
