Concept: if we use existing [[Quick Connect Wheels]] - we can create a drive train for the Microtrac, in about 4 hours as opposed to 40 hours. Using readily-available car spare tires - the wheel system can be done at low cost. Small tracks are needed, perhaps 3/4" rebar and 1/4" chain, or even a metal wheel system where cogs drive a simple track chain - based on general design found in [[LifeTrac_Tracks]]. If we have a small tracked Microtrac, then one application would be a [[Calfdozer]].

Concept: if we use existing Quick Connect Wheels - we can create a drive train for the Microtrac, in about 4 hours as opposed to 40 hours. Using readily-available car spare tires - the wheel system can be done at low cost. Small tracks are needed, perhaps 3/4" rebar and 1/4" chain, or even a metal wheel system where cogs drive a simple track chain - based on general design found in LifeTrac_Tracks. If we have a small tracked Microtrac, then one application would be a Calfdozer.
