The Universal Auger is a modular, quick-attach rotor - that can be used for many applications:
- Modular Wheel Unit
- Part of a geardown assembly used in the bulldozer
- Auger
- Rotor for any other function
We have started with the design on the Modular Wheel Units page, and have since redesigned it for fabrication to include notches for easy fitting for welding - under the assumption that the metal will be CNC cut from 1/2" steel sheet.
Our next steps include:
- Design of a second version with heavier duty, 3" shaft - as the existing version has 1-7/8" shafts.
