Definition of Ready for Media

Before foreign media are allowed on site, here are some requirements. Expected media-ready status is slated for end of 2017.

• Site manager assures site is in good condition of farm management. Status: needs land management equipment to be in place first.
• Workshop manager to run ongoing heavy machine workshops and to continue development of modules. Status: 4000 sf workshop is in place, now we need to optimize the space for organization, tool control, and inventory, including a new addition for materials storage.
• Keyline perennial polyculture seeded with alley crop of Chestnut, hazel, apple, pear, plum, and peach hybrid swarms. Status: 13000 hazelnuts and chestnuts ready for seeding in greenhouse. Keyline plow and keylining strategy in progress.
• Workshop organization and materials storage stabilized. Status: Materials storage addition needs to be built, tool and materials control to be established, and CNC torching infrastructure needs to be set up.
• Housing infrastructure stabilized with ultra-low cost housing proof of concept for brick, lumber, insulation, biocement, aquaponics, off-grid, and living roof infrastructures. Status: OBI collaboration is in startup phase.
• Brick and lumber production facility. Status: Brick press is in 90% of robust productivity, first prototype of sawmill tested, and next step is building a 2-3000 sf brick production facility with soil conditioner and continuous biocement production. Exploring hempcrete as well.
• Robust tractor, bulldozer, backhoe running on gasifier. Status: Charcoal gasifier first prototype was successful. Tractor is up to Version 6. Needs to go to finish line on Tractor Construction Set in FreeCAD.
