*Stackable is pancakes of 2'x3' - and 4" high based on pipe
*Unpressurized system with pumping
*Seams between layers are sealed with rock wool insulation - works well
*Completely modular - can be stacked as high as needed. One in and out fitting per stack.
*For pressure applications - different design must be used

Requirements

  • Stackable is pancakes of 2'x3' - and 4" high based on pipe
  • Unpressurized system with pumping
  • Seams between layers are sealed with rock wool insulation - works well
  • Completely modular - can be stacked as high as needed. One in and out fitting per stack.
  • For pressure applications - different design must be used

Calculations

  • 1" pipe is 3' per square foot of heat exchange area
  • 10k btu/hr per square foot of heat exchange
  • 10k btu per hr = 3 kW
  • One stick of 3' pipe is 10k btu/hr
  • 8 pipes is 80k btu - a decent start for scalability
