- Middle class privilege - found out about oppression of other people 5 years ago. Own oppression played into things.
- Startup CTO - selling to other corporations how to learn a language for other business. Quit a year and a half ago after 4.5 years. Liked it a lot, was well paid and respected. But impact on the world was enriching corporations. Felt like he was responsible for the team, didn't quit until they got stable (

- Oppression of other people - read Noam Chomsky. Had a white liberal lens, but did not understand that he was under white supremacy.
