Financial Freedom in the way OSE uses it means not being tied down to compensation for alienation. Most people apparently do not like their jobs - see Job Satisfaction. It means pursuing your true goals of self-determination free from financial constraints of 'making a living.'
In the world of OSE, we don't consider it financial freedom when that freedom is obtained at the cost of others' freedom. Ie, the work that provides financial freedom must be ethical and ecologically sound. It cannot contribute to structural evil.
