Basics
- A setup useful only in labs, factories, or houses/commercial buildings with hobbiest level workshops, garages, or Minifacories
- May have some use in a home if a Compressed Air Storage (Energy System) system is implemented
- Consists of a large Air Compressor, a large Compressed Air Tank, and Piping + Outlets
- Can be as simple as a system that only spans the garage, or workshop, all the way to a house wide system
- May be relitively simple to add it, but hard to retrofit (in wall piping)
- Need to determine standard pressures Thia Link May Help (PVC pipe should work, with metal valves, and outlets with quick disconnect and/barb fittings
- A more intermediate system, that is common at some Motorpools / Corporate Garages/Shops etc is a larger Air Compressor+Tank Unit, and then piping to various Hose Reels etc
Sourcing/BOM
Air Compressor
- Amazon Reccomended Consumer Level Air Compressor ~ 150 USD as of 1/15/2020
Air Tank
Building Level
- 10 gal tank ~ 70 USD as of 1/15/2020
Piping
- PVC or Metal?
Fittings
- Misc Fittings On Amazon basically 1 barb and one quick disconnect (inserting or receving?) per outlet
