  • Mainly a Grassroots project, with central (albeit online) coordinated core
  • Main Goal is Networking Charities, and non-governmental services in a local area

Existing Places

  • Not perfect as this will most likely be a multi user space (thus can't be used all of the time, or may have strict limits on use etc)
  • Much cheaper and less hard to start
  • Thus most likely used for the beginning of the group to the first year or so
    • Most likely will use a library, school, ymca, or church (although churches can be less of a neutral space)

Make One

  • Make a dropkit for "community centers"
  • Provide:
    • Free Place to Be
    • Entertainment
    • Food
    • (minor (ie not full on classes like those at school, but life skills/hobbies) ) Education
    • A small to full on makerspace as it grows
    • Business Incubator + Remote Development Chapter
    • Virtual + Small Real World Library (a small bookshelf, and a pile of simple e-readers)
    • e-cafe (ie internet for people without home pc's)
    • Community Group Hub (help plan and organize charities, unions, etc)
