Basics
- A Monitoring Agency for proper protocol when dealing with E-Waste processing, recycling, and disposal
- They do interview/tours of facilities, but also do unannounced tests with devices they put self contained trackers in to track where the device (such as a computer monitor) end up.
- The goal is to prevent the sale to companies that use open burning and storage piles of e-waste, often with unprotected workers in developing countries, which leads to severe enviromental and public health problems, many of which will last for generations if not cleaned up (in an expensive manner like other Browfeild / Superfund Sites
