Basics
- A Method of Cutting Thick Metal
- Uses a Hollow Graphite Rod that Compressed Air is blown through while an arc is created in a similar manner to Shielded Metal Arc Welding
- This melts, oxidizes and blows away metal rapidly
- Very Loud (Above most Noise Exposure Limits?) and also can launch the molten metal long distances which presents another safety hazard
