OSE boot camps are rigorous, hands-on training programs for mastery learning of build skills across many areas of the Technosphere.

OSE offers 3 major types of events. Future Fab series are virtual, and the rest are in-person. These events can be run as combined or separate events - where the builder crash courses typically consist of a boot camp followed by a swarm build. The future fab crash courses may be run virtually and can thus be scaled.

  • Future Fab Academy Crash Courses - Stands for Future Fabulous/Fabrication. These are remote Rapid Learning sessions focusing on theory and design including AI CAD assets. The core module here is a remote, 5 day Future Fab Crash Course intended to inspire people to become future builders - not only worldbuilders (fictional) but also civilization builders (real).

Future Builders Academy Crash Courses - hands on rapid learning sessions, typically consisting of boot camps and swarm builds.

  • Boot Camps - the hands on practice, in person sessions at OSE facilities
  • Swarm Builds - the social production build events of OSE. This is a model with a large group of people building things to make production rapid, educational, an fun. These are held at OSE facilities and other locations.

About Future Fab

The scalable online courses may be free or paid. It may be a good idea to lower the barriers to entry - while using the course to measure outcomes. One way to do this is to structure payment from free, to select your donation level, to pay-to-play levels. Information should be free access. Rigor can be provided by competency testing, which would be a paid experience and which would contribute value to OSE's Open Sector development. The inspiration stuff is cheap - and it can be free. The practical part is dear - requiring mental or physical effort - and should be paid. The outcome of competency testing is a set of rigorously-defined credentials for productive capacity. Transparent, documented productive capacity metrics can be valuable for professional advancement - such as in startup work or in collaboration with OSE.
