Solutions that OSE can participate in:
1. Invest heavily in land and build open source RV parks or just land with regular housing. People are getting forced out of everywhere.
2. Sell below market rate. For example, guarantee no tax increase if utilities are localized on site (water, power, waste). This is exactly what we are prototyping. But- how to sell below market rate? Only if we control sufficient amounts of related infrastructure and process. We are building to that. This is favorable in that new settlements can be located outside cities, and restrictions are lower. This would face significant legal barriers, to be overcome with open source reference engineering.
