Design
goal: take existing lathe with existing modifications to working operation

ideas
- mount pivoting bolt under a plate that fits snugly under sliding base
- make small pivoting bolt mount that can be c-clamped on base
- pull from bottom of bearing mounts
- make new plate accross from bearing mount plate for hydraulic motor
