Something I'm rather keen to see opensourced is a smart livestock collar for intensive grazing management. Agersens.com is at least acting like they are close commercially, and their is a halting, long history through Dean Anderson at Jornada ARS through a proof of concept opensource https://hackaday.io/project/10725-openfence-digital-livestock-fencing. I've been learning about IoT with blockchain tech looking through an ag tech lensj the whole space is fascinating and just the data analytics opportunity from a smart livestock collar is big, let alone how powerful intensive grazing without crossfencing is for productivity improvement through carbon capturing soil building.
