• Research focus - mathematical modeling of stochastic optimization; machine learning - very basic; computer vision; basics in mechanics and electrotechnics - mathematical engineering; mix of informatics and engineering

• All factories have robots now. Therefore, the competitive advantage is logistics. That's where information is the key factor that influences price.
• Thus OSE is competing with those logistics. So this is ethical - OSE would disrupt classical economics completely. We open production, and we open distribution. No longer the classical economic model. That links to the mission of OSE - from regenaration and environment.
• Extreme collaboration - Ruslan has it
• Can "extreme collaboration" win as an economic model? The question is "should it win"
• Primary goal of classical system is profit maximization
• Thus this will maximize profit of some person
• Profit maximization is not sustainable - as if you want to maximize profit, you will
• We have different goals - autonomy, mastery, and purpose - if not maximize profit, maximize self-determination?
• We have well-being of people as an essential part of project. "We provide means for everyone". Different than max profit of a single person or organization.
• We compete with classical model. Linux disrupted server world.
• Idea of OSE is robust - it needs to be not killable.
• The village - it's something that is independent.
• You have means of production. You are independent from other factories. They can create their own society - extremely capitalistic or socialistic - but free to do.
• How do we cooperate massively without coercing? We don't need to collaborate with everyone. We now select only particular ones that fit with a particular mindset. This may make things easier. Look for people that work together. Then you don't need to force them to collaborate.
• Can it be sufficient to hire millions of dollars of worth of poeple, except not proprietary but open source?
• Researchers - do a lot of this work
• Feedback - OSE Dev - forced Ruslan to do something to be a part of a team. Not just something, but something which is well-explained - such as why we need FreeCAD knowledge and precise number of hours that are required. Systematically structured organization can be a great advantage than others that can disappear. For Ruslan, this was an advantage, and why he joined.
