We call this Evolving to Freedom because only when we conquer material security - or making a living without stress - can we begin an earnest quest for higher purpose. Without basic needs being assured, there are always distractions from thriving. Some can Evolve to Freedom via voluntary simplicity, but most people do not have the spiritual skill or internal desire to do so.
