Great and clear.
Use shift and control on Ubuntu to zoom in and out and move around to get a detailed cut.
Procedure:
- Windows menu -> New Toolbox if tools are not showing
- Free Select Tool - Lasso -> click and drag, or do multiple clicks for pointwise line selection
- Go all the way to the starting point and click
- Select-> Invert
- Ctrl-X to remove background.
- Save as PNG to preserve transparency. Export.
