*Ned Downie at Yale - I know it’s been a week or so since we were last in touch, so I just wanted to let you know that we’ve reached out to several organizations at Brown and RISD — Brown’s Engineers without Borders, Building Society, and campus-wide science and engineering honors society Sigma Xi, as well as RISD’s STEAM club. We’re still awaiting a response, but if I don’t hear back from them by Monday, I’m going to try to get in touch with the Brown chapter of St. Anthony Hall to see if they have any suggestions.

Dear ________,

I'm the founder of Open Source Ecology - please see my Global Village Construction Set TED Talk - https://www.ted.com/talks/marcin_jakubowski_open_sourced_blueprints_for_civilization

We work on open source technology for solving pressing world issues. This year we are running our most ambitious program to date - the Summer of Extreme Design-Build - where one could learn more practical skills in one summer - than one would in a lifetime. Please see the announcement - the flyer is at the top:

https://www.opensourceecology.org/summer-x-2020/

Can you pass this on to your group? I'm also available to give presentations and workshops if you can invite me - if you are interested in learning how to design and build just about anything. For example, we run 3D printer builds - where we teach you to build your own 3D printer from scratch - in one day. We're all about public access to design and build skills using fully open source toolchains.

Thanks, Marcin
