- Public rural school; students limited financially
- STEAM Camp - 2 day camp - open to community as well. End of April.

- Population of island - 6000; in summer there is 90% tourist driven; whale watching, kayaking, etc.
- Workshop - 2000 sf, classroom 2000 sf
- 10 workbench style tables. 20 groups plus.
- Global Classroom - was adapted by school board.
- Assistance League - national group - $900 funding for summer programs
- Rotary Club - active at Friday Harbor
- Optimist Club
- College Scholarship type funds - at one school - for helping students figure out college plans.
