Straightup plastic perfectly matched work well.
Making a 3D printed mold - to print soft plast. Fishing lure material is thermoplastic.

Larger scope - remaking an industry from scratch; chemical filter. Carbon filters that go on are expensive. Say for welding.

Condensation - don't make filter at bottom, water will get it. Lip at bottom to retain moisture is a smart idea.
