This is a screenshot of the back-and-forth I had with Discourse developers and co-founder Jeff Atwood in a topic I created to request information about Discoure's support for using the PURGE method for downstream reverse proxies like varnish cache.
There was very little information about it, so I used this topic to document my configuration for others in the community. I got attacked, and the Discourse staff ultimately deleted the entire topic, making it clear that they intentionally don't provide or permit their product to be documented--another regrettably common instance of intentionally making their product hard to use in a Strategic Open Source project as a means to generate revenue.
