Basics

  • Also called Morally Questionable Marketing or MQM
  • A goofy project started by User:Eric (and thus all on them ie NOT WHAT OSE MAY THINK etc so safe there)
  • Not 100% sciency/best use of dev time, BUT
  • As the 2016 USA election showed, memes can be a borderline propaganda tool (on both sides)
    • Although not as mush as some 4chan edgelords make them out to be...
      • But enough that Russia hired people to make, post, and promote them
  • Will consist of a Reddit Page, shitposts/memes (and their source files... :) ) , and cross promoting/hyping them until the community is "self sufficient"
  • The FLOSS comunity and the Linux community already have good community and humor (due to sheer scale/prevalence of their respective concepts most likely)
  • This project aims mainly to "jump start" Open Hardware Hype, and thus create the community faster (also will make SOME FLOSS ones lol)
  • ALSO any edgy memes etc will be strictly banned as you can't have FALQASC without being non racist/sexist/ "all the -phobics"...
