This may be just me, but the flammability/potential for mold + insects etc (especially in wet areas such as florida where i live) using hay in walls as insulation kind of spooks me.
BUT i think this is definetly an intresting Biomass source. I have a study saved somewhere on potential yeild from the subsidized "not growing" (forget the term) in the USA being converted to biomass crops, instead of a "pure" Cover Crops
I have heard from others the idea of running PV arrays along roads has been looked at, but too much car crashes/cost etc. Biomass is much easier, and grass to a certain extent will "already be there"
Definetly food for thought!
