Basics

A form of Extractive Metallurgy used as a Part of Processing Raw Ore, or for Removing Oxygen from Pure Oxides
Roasting (Metallurgical Process) may be required beforehand to remove pure carbon, sulfur, and other undesired elements from the ore (Not needed if using pure oxide)
Typically done with Iron , Zinc , and Copper oxides, although it can be applied to nearly any oxide
