Basics

  • Also known as "Mission Creep" or "Scope Creep"
  • The gradual shift in goals of a project, or addition of projects
  • Usually used in regards to mismanagment wherein due to projects shifitng most take longer to finish than if they were done "one by one"
  • Does not mean there can be a wide focus/many simultaneous projects, or shifts due to changing circumstances, just that focus on preventing this issue is essential
