Basics

  • An abreviattion for the plastic Thermoplastic Polyurethane
  • The main flexible filament used in FDM 3D Printing
  • Can be hard to print due to the flexible filament "spilling out" in the extruder etc
  • Also may require tweaking of settings to acheive the desired print quality

Notes

  • 4-6,000 PSI tensile strength
  • clear form exists
  • UV stable forms exist
  • Can be mixed with polar plastics such as PVC
