Build Technique
- For metal work, grind anything you torched prior to any fitting or assempby. Otherwise slag doesn't let you align things.
- Check corners after grinding from torching - that the slag has been removed completely - and that little slivers of slag are not there
- After finish welding, check all corners and edges and bring down sharp points so others don't get cuts in the future
- Prior to working with any metal with slag - use 15 A grinder to remove slag.
Organization
- Organize workshop by sections of related parts.
- Use Visual Workshop techniques
Documentation
- At the end of the day, document Learnings or Data on your log.
