Hydraulic Motors Explored

  • Key motor - 5 cu in [2]. Power - torque*RPM/63000.
  • Industry standards - Case SR270 has 24000 in lb motors at 240 rpm 7 mph [3], or 91 hp (for 2 motors). Final drive motor is $4k [4]. Case 75XT (75 hp) is $3k [5]
  • Char-Lynn 104-1014-006 is 26 hp [6] and about $500 [7]
  • Check.pngChar-Lynn 105-1006-006 os 29 hp [8]. $120 but has case drain [9]. Lowest cost at $6/hp - making it a strong candidate for use. No case drain is double that. Definitely worth considering case drained options especially when more than 4 motors are used. 19 gpm makes flow a little more difficult. HIgh pressure motor (3000 PSI+).
  • Dynamic BMER-2 series wheel drive - up to 9000, but limit of 20 hp [10]
