Bostrom who talks of ridding pain should talk of ridding pain in the ass. Ie, removing the asshole sides of people that stem from no evolution of the reptilian brain. Or reversion to its tactics because people are not taught about it.

Robots help us modularize algorithms. People are needed for people things.
