  • Menards - 16" at $134 65 series [1]. 28' span for 40 psf live 10 dead, with 16 OC. 130 lb for 32', 100 lb for 24'
  • Design guide - [2]. Chat tells me 90 series is also 7/16" web. [3]

Weight

  • 16" deep truss - For 7/16" OSB at 45 lb/sheet - we need 1.66 times sheet including bonding plates. Takes us to 151.5 lb per truss.
  • 12" deep truss - For 7/16" OSB at 45 lb/sheet - we need 1 = 45 lb in OSB, and 8*9.6=76.8+45+4.5 total of 128 lb for 32' including bonding plates.

Design

  • 34 span for 16" deep I joist (80 series) at 12" OC spacing. [4]
    • Check.png This is needed for 32' space.
  • P3 Series 80 joist - all it says for P3 is that they are '3/8" web or greater'
  • P3 80 series is 7/16" web [5]
