Mufflers
- [2] Galvanized Muffler Pipe Tube 1 1/2” 1/8” 6”
- [2] Galvanized Muffler Pipe Tube 6 cm 1/8” 7”
- [2] Galvanized Steel round 1 1/2"
- [4] Galvanized Steel washer 2 1/2"
- Use a cutting torch to enlarge the holes in the washers to 1 1/2"
- Drill 40 holes in the 1 1/2" tube, 1/4" in diameter, spaced evenly (8 rows of 5 holes)
- Weld the steel round to one end of the 1 1/2" tube, sealing it off completely
- Weld one steel washer to the open end of the 1 1/2" tube, the other to one end of the 6 cm tube
- Insert the smaller tube assembly in the larger tube and weld together, around edge of washer
- Weld the half nipple on top of the washer on one end of the 6 cm tube
- Weld the flange to one end of the other nipple
- Screw the assembly together as shown below
