Submission Steps

1. Watch the OSE TED talk?
2. Fill out the OSE FlashMob Survey
   • OSE will use the FlashMob survey to solve immediate problems we encounter
   • it also notes your areas of expertise and your agreement to the open source culture (no individual ownership of ideas)
3. Read about the things you need to be aware of
4. Make your personal page:
   • Click "Edit" in wiki page header and copy the wiki markup in this page.
   • Create your own page that is titled with your name, e.g. http://www.opensourceecology.org/wiki/Firstname_Lastname
   • Paste the wiki markup into that new page.
   • Fill in, answer, and upload the requested info below.
5. Add your page link to the main recruiting page
6. Review interview calendar and email recruiter with a couple of times for first interview.

• all applicants agree to the open source culture of sharing ideas
• all applicants are subject to trial periods (typically two-weeks to a month)
• for help embedding videos and for general wiki policies, view the Wiki Instructions and Policies page.

Interview Steps

After an application has been submitted, OSE staff will review and for selected applicants start the interview process outlined below. During this part of the process, we expect the applicants to update the personal page with the links and uploads.

First Interview

EMBED a link to your first interview from the list of interview videos.

Second Interview

EMBED a link to your second interview from the list of interview videos.

Assignment

After an assignment is discussed, UPLOAD the supporting docs and put links here

Work Plan

After a work plan is discussed, UPLOAD the supporting docs and put links here
