WHY are you motivated to support/develop this work?
- Do you endorse open source culture?
Yes, of course! Open Source, over time, will always be more efficient and effective than anything created in a different mindset, different insentives... And it is free to use and open to everybody who wants to use or contribute.
- Why are you interested in collaborating with us?
I’ve seen quite a few projects on the internet, wanting to change something, but they most often go no further than criticising the current state but doing nothing for change. I see huge potential in Open Source and think it’s the future of economics. So that’s how i see You project aswell...
- How do you think that the GVCS can address pressing world issues?
This is obvious, it would lower the barriers, as Marcin always says so beatifully, of farming and finally living a modern, comfort lifestyle. Short term, i see the biggest impact in the 3rd world.
- What should happen so that you become more involved with the project?
I feel quite well as it is at the moment, if i have any questions, i ask Nikolay or one of the other more experienced members...
- What is missing in the project?
Imho a decent structure and easy access for new people, who don’t know much about the project yet...
- What are your suggestions for improvement of the project?
Better documentation; but i recognise, You just started with that.
And i think everything should be up to date at all times, so for example I would exchange the ‘’GVCS in 2 Minutes’’ Video with Marcins Ted Talk. Some of my friends got confused as i was showing them the Project. ‘’”...is it now 40 or 50 machines?’’ ect..
WHAT are your skills?
- English, German - sort of fluent in speaking and writing
- 2d, 3d Animation, Design - mostly work with Blender 2.5 up
- Web Design

- How are you interested in contributing to the work of GVCS development?
I am interested in the documentation of the GVCS and other design related stuff...
- Can you volunteer to work with us, and if so, how many hours per week?
I can definitely volunteer for the project.
- Are you interested in working with us for pay? If so, what services can you offer, and what is your hourly or per-project rate?
Nope, not at the moment...
- Are you interested in a Dedicated Project Visit?
Yes.
- Are you interested in purchasing equipment from us to help bootstrap development?
Nope, not at the moment.
- Are you interested in bidding for consulting/design/prototyping work?
Nope, not at the moment.
- Are you a True Fan? If not, why not?
Yes, i am.
- Would you like to see yourself working with us on a full-time basis?
If working with You on a full-time basis means working in the Open Source Movement in general, yes, definitely. At the moment i'll focus on my studies and we'll see what comes next... I got two friends building a farm, a school, and a learning center in Kongo: Gocongo Foundation. I'll most probably visit that.
- Are you interested in being part of the world's first, open source, resilient community? The GVCS is the preparatory step for the OSE Village Experiment – a 2 year, immersion experiment (2013-2014) for testing whether a real, thriving, modern-day prototype community of 200 people can be built on 200 acres using local resources and open access to information? We are looking for approximately 200 people to fill a diverse array of roles, according to the Social Contract that is being developed. This may be the boldest social experiment on earth - a pioneering community whose goal is to extend the index of possibilities regarding harmonious existence of humans, ecology, and technology.
I can’t imagine myself working in a “status quo” environment, as we know it today. That's for sure.
