Got the VW running:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFJ88vhx9KM

We figured out that to mount it, we will use the 10 small bolts on the bell housing, plus a 4 bolt boltdown from the opposite end of the engine under the alternator pulley. This supports the engine from both sides.

Can you pull out the bolt pattern for the bell housing and for the under-pulley side and get me a sketchup or DXF of it?

This will allow us to generate aluminum mounting plates for a Power Cube frame.

We may want to do 1/4"x1.5" aluminum square tubing, bolted at corners for prototyping - for weigh minimization.

For heavy duty applications on tractors, we may want to embody this lightweight frame in a steel tubing frame - 1/4"x4"x4"
