Currently exploring a keyed 5/8" shaft on pillow bearings with 7 1/2" circular saw blades stacked on it.  A stepped pulley enables speed changes for a variety of materials.  The drive motor can be electric, gasoline, diesel... anything that will drive the belt.
Currently exploring a keyed 5/8" shaft on pillow bearings with 7 1/2" circular saw blades stacked on it.  A stepped pulley enables speed changes for a variety of materials.  The drive motor can be electric, gasoline, diesel... anything that will drive the belt.  A housing will be constructed of 3/4" plywood to guard the user from the blades and create a hopper for materials.  A collection bag may be attached underneath to collect shredded material.
