Dr. Joshua Pearce -No matter which printer technology they use the facilitators should have built 2 and have substantial experience using them before being thrown into a group of novices. For the Ultimaker clones - how many people per printer for the 12 hour build? The delta build is almost certainly faster - but I could be wrong. Ulitmakers are good machines, but by the nature of the design will be a bit more expensive.It has been awhile since I built a laser cut wood machine - the major disadvantage is the time spent with nut-traps.
