ACH payments allow for transfers of money, with under $1 processing fees - as opposed to typical 3% fees typical of PayPal. That means saving about $30 for every $1000 - which is a substantial amount - worth pursuing if an ACH transaction is frictionless. The issue is that ACH transactions may not be as frictionless - but certainly would be preferred for those who care about minimum transaction costs.
