This is the introductory lecture presented at the Open Source Microfactory Boot Camp. The lecture is an overview of OSE's work on open source product development and creation of the open source economy. The current phase of OSE is enterprise development via the [[OSE Immersion Program]] - where we distribute the Extreme Manufacturing Workshop education/production model to different locations around North America. This is the introductory lecture presented at the Open Source Microfactory Boot Camp of 2018. The lecture is an overview of OSE's work on open source product development and creation of the open source economy. Milestones of OSE development are presented, along with initial results of the Extreme Manufacturing Workshop revenue model. The current phase of OSE is enterprise development via the OSE Immersion Program - where we distribute the Extreme Manufacturing Workshop education/production model to different locations around North America. Our goal is to open up the immersion program to international operations.
