• Team Building Retreat positioned around collaborative spirit in a company and around starting a practical office plastic recycling program

Notes

• A weekend retreat at a corporation or AirBNB focusing on team building.
• We build one or two large 3D printers
• Day 1 is OSE Intro, Build of 3D printer, and first prints from an Easy Build Kit
• Focus of Day 1 is Scrum Board, Collaborative Documentation on FB or Google Doc
• Focuses on Friendly Cooperation between 2 teams to troubleshoot and make things work
• Focus is on Leaving Nobody Behind - forced cooperation between team members
• Positioned as enhancing collaborative spirit in teams
• Positioned as both team building and starting a recycling program in your office
• Positioned as Design Jam collaboration if 3rd day is included in program

Day 1:

• 1 hour - OSE and Collaborative Development Intro
• 6 hours - build
• 1 hour - Scrum and Agile explained by 11 principles of Extreme Manufacturing
• 1 hour - preparing and executing an overnight prototyping print of filament maker

Day 2:

• Finding printing files on repositories and printing them
• Design exercise - collaborative design of a modular build with 12 teams of 2 each working on a single module based on proper interface design
• Final exercise - grinding your trash to useful filament to start a recycling program in your office
