Nut breeding is an experimental process at present, and it requires a stable bootstrapping revenue model to scale. Nursery economics - can do well when no records are kept, because generic seed is used.
- Harvest 4M nuts. 1 acre at 500lb per acre = 100k seeds per acre. 500x 40 acres - just for sale at $1000/acre if $2/lb- $40k revenue .
- Learning workshop - $300 for the weekend
- Participant gets 50 lb seed at $10/lb, or $500.
- 'Permaculture Workshop Model' - 20 participants, $10k revenue. 3 Day Nut Breeding Immersion Workshop. 1 day seed prep, 2 day seeding, 3 day planting, 4 day harvest.
